This study discusses contribution of circulating fluidized boilers to environmental protection. Present situation of atmospheric pollution and the countermeasure of its treatment, working principle and characteristics of the type of the boiler, mechanism of desulfurization and mechanism deducing NOX discharge etc. were described.
